Dental Program Coordinator – Full Time 12 Month Contract Position

 

Join Quest Community Health Centre, in partnership with the Regional Municipality of Niagara Public Health as we develop and implement Niagara’s Ontario Seniors Dental Program, an integrated initiative that focuses on low-income seniors of Niagara having access to an affordable continuum of Oral Healthcare Services.  The program is embedded within Quest Community Health Centre to ensure that clients receive holistic primary health care.

Quest CHC seeks a vibrant, competent individual to provide consistent high-level support to the Dental Clinic staff to ensure that clinical work of the team achieves and maintains excellence of service by providing administration and coordination.

These duties are accomplished as integral member of a multidisciplinary team of professionals whose objective is to provide holistic health care and follow up.  The position has a strong emphasis on health promotion, disease prevention, and community capacity building and works within a harm reduction framework

The qualified candidate will have a post-secondary degree or diploma in dental administration or related field is preferred.  Minimum of the equivalent of three full-time years’ dental experience with at least one-year experience in dental office administration within an electronic health record and practice management system. Certified Level II Dental Assistant is an asset.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual and shows strong leadership capabilities.
